Prologue
              TRAPPED IN ”AUGMENTED REALITY”
                Human and Humanoid

Disaster descriptions have long gone beyond the frame of genre literature and filled the daily chronicles. Wars of the ”Fourth Wave”, live broadcast of massacres of target countries and introduction of that topic into bookmakers, SF weapons market, geopolitics moved to space and to the bottom of the icy oceans, the world in a controlled fear of viruses released from laboratories, racial wars and artificially induced migrations, conflict between mutants and ”normal people”, riders of the apocalypse in the election campaign, artificial intelligence taking control of humans and the world, earthquakes caused by high frequency transmitters, control of population on the planet through poisoning. (...)
This is no longer trivial literature but our ”augmented reality”.
Virtual reality eats the non-virtual one for breakfast. Life retreats before simulations, humans retreat before humanoids. The number of clicks and likes replaced all other measures, every real meaning. The demonism accurately reported in the ancient books engulfed the world.
In order to delay the fateful questions, the dictatorship of the banality of hitherto unimaginable proportions is being encouraged. Now we see how practically ”with the help of entertainment, idiots are being made from entire nations”. A few days ago, in a Belgrade-based reality show, an overly made-up participant, reshaped with Botox and silicones, was eating her own feces in front of the cameras. Literally. With statements from leaders, new rapes and slaughter, new evidence of our flourishing, this was indispensable news for the front pages. Likes came from all over. ”Now the overly made-up can certainly not be eliminated!”
There is less and less power left for disgust, our last defense. In such circumstances, is it possile to produce a geo-poetic magazine? We still believe it is. Otherwise you wouldn't even have these lines in front of you.
